I just presented the Small Business Start Up Workshop for the Small Business Development Center in Spencer, IN. It was held at the Owen County State Bank. We had a great turn out and some very nice attendees working hard at starting their own business. It is great to see the entrepreneurial sprit is alive and well in Owen County.
3 things I learned from the attendees.
- Very interested in learning about what type of corporation they should be
- Marketing is an area many aren’t comfortable with
- They are getting more educated before making the choice to start a business
